In this workshop, students will learn how to carve a solid pendant using the ancient lost art of Lost Wax!
Your piece will be cast in brass (or upgrade to sterling silver). They will be tumbled or polished and ready to pick up in 3-4 weeks!
Sculpting in wax is beneficial for mental health and provides students with an opportunity to be confident in something they create, helps focus and teaches patience.
Did you know lost wax is the oldest form of metal work dating back 65,000 years ago to 1550 BC! Many lost wax artists have given up the (almost lost) art of Lost Wax due to 3D printing but it is very important to keep this lost art alive!
