In this workshop, students will learn how to hand build luminarias!
We will fire and glaze your pieces (you pick the glaze) and they will be ready to pick up in 4-5 weeks!
Working with clay is beneficial for mental health and provides students with an opportunity to be confident in something they create.

Did you know pottery has been around since the ancient people roamed the earth? As one of the oldest human inventions, the practice of pottery has developed alongside civilization. The earliest ceramic objects are dated as far back as 29,000 BC and shaped as little animals. Maybe a toy for a child perhaps? Although, the originators of ceramics dates back thousands of years, not much has advanced in all these years as far as hand building. We will dive into the world of hand building, just as our ancestors did!
